With an eye for discovery and admiration for tradition, Sophie Zamel is on a continuous quest seeking nature’s great treasures. Through partnerships with responsible communities in Peru, the Northern Territories of Canada, Greenland, Sri Lanka and Madagascar, Sophie Zamel has brought her visions to life, created with the intention to be passed on to future generations.
After formative training at the Gemological Institute of America and at Parsons School of Design, Zamel honed her skills in New York's diamond district. Her namesake fine jewelry label was founded in 2020, where she presented her first collection, Free-form. Zamel imagines and creates from her hometown of Sydney where she currently resides.
